Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles-Phoenix and Las Vegas

My first visit to Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles was in Phoenix, AZ.  The atmosphere was nice, the service was good but the food was nothing short of AMAZING!!! I can actually say I went into a food coma after finishing my lunch! The food was so delicious, so filling and fulfilling, I did not eat again until the next day. That’s says a lot for a foodie like me!

Lo-Lo’s specializes in Southern and Soul food along with waffles. Typically, I love chicken & waffles, but I also love a good down-home meal.  I opted to have the smothered chicken with mac & cheese and yams.  I am sure the chicken and waffles are good, but that smothered chicken was scrumptious. The portion was huge as you can see in the picture. The gravy was thick and well-seasoned. The chicken was cooked to perfection.  The wings pulled apart easily, which is always a good sign. The sides were excellent. No complaints here.

There was no way I could have a great meal like that and not finish it off with dessert! I chose the Banana Puddin’ to complete my lunch. Again, another good choice. I don’t think there were any wrong choices. They’ve definitely mastered their craft.

I enjoyed my food so much, I decided to check out the Las Vegas location while there. Again, my food was on point. I ordered the same meal I had in Phoenix and it was just as good. Another great experience so I am a satisfied customer and fan.

I highly recommend visiting Lo-Lo’s if there is one in the area. They have several locations in Arizona, Nevada and Texas. I am looking forward to my next trip to Vegas, so I can try something new. I know I won’t be disappointed.
