What do you do when you are craving both brownies and cheesecake? You combine the two to make something out of this world!!!! I had 4 cast iron cookie skillets so I decided to try 4 variations of the same ingredients. Each skillet has both brownie and cheesecake.

I used boxed brownie mix along with a combination of cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla for the cheesecake mixture.  The variations are: cheesecake and brownie side-by-side, cheesecake in the center; a bottom layer of brownie with cheesecake on top and marble. I topped each differently with ice cream, whipped cream, gelato, chocolate chips, hot fudge, salted caramel sauce and cherries.

The skillets are the perfect portion size for an after dinner treat. These are a great option when each person wants something slightly different or a different flavor ice cream.
