Storyville American Table- Huntington, NY

Storyville American Table is located in downtown Huntington Village. Tucked away on Green Street, Storyville offers a nice ambiance with a flair of New Orleans cuisine.  The exterior is nicely lit in the evening giving it a warm appeal. This is the one place on Long Island residents can visit to get New Orleans/Cajun favorites like Jambalaya and Red Beans and Rice. .

I was treated to a delicious dinner for my birthday. Shrimp and grits! The picture tells the story. What more can I say? This dish was made with succulent jumbo shrimp served over creamy cheddar cheese grits. The Fried Shrimp Po’ Boy was very satisfying. It was served with a yummy remoulade  on the side.

For dessert, we had Beignets, a New Orleans favorite and Chocolate and the Café Du Monde  Mousse Hurricane.  The Beignets were light and authentic. The Chocolate and Café Du Monde Mousse Hurricane was thick and rich. It was so filling I would have to skip my entrée in order to finish the whole dessert. I only made it through half of the glass and had to stop. It was so rich I just couldn’t eat another spoonful.

Storyville offers a weekday Four-Play menu Monday-Thursday. Four courses with four choices. I am looking forward to sampling more of their menu. The Shrimp and Andouille Sausage Skewers are next on my list. I am also anxious to try the Bananas Foster which is prepared tableside.

This was an enjoyable taste of New Orleans in New York!
