My daughter introduced me to her favorite place to eat dinner on Mondays and Thursdays. Mama’s offers both a great deal and a great meal during the week for their Pasta and Chicken nights. I have been going quite regularly on Thursday nights to enjoy a delicious chicken entrée served over my favorite pasta.
You really can’t beat the deal they offer for their specials. The dinner starts off with a basket of warm garlic knots followed by a salad. By this point I am already beginning to get full. It’s hard for me to resist warm bread! I’ve tasted all of the dishes shown and all of them were scrumptious. I love creamy sauces so these are really a delight for me. I’ve never been able to finish my entrée at the restaurant. The food is so filling I have to take a good amount of it home with me. That’s the other good thing about this deal. I am really getting two meals for the price of one. I usually have the other half of my dinner the next day.
As if this wasn’t enough food, the meal ends with a slice of cheesecake which I always get packed to go. Friday night is just as good for me as Thursday night because I know I am coming home to have the other half of my dinner plus dessert. I don’t have to cook and I know I am going to enjoy my meal.
It’s hard to choose a favorite dish because everything is so good but if I had to choose, I think it would be the Chicken Salvatore. I love sun dried tomatoes and the asparagus tips are always cooked perfectly. The pesto cream sauce is scrumptious. The Chicken Pazzo is right at the top of my list as well. I haven’t gone wrong yet with any of my selections so I will just keep going through their vast menu until I have tried everything that appeals to me.
Do yourself a favor and check out some of your local Italian restaurants. Now that I am aware of this deal, I have been noticing more places that offer great deals like this during the week. The wait can be a bit long but I just go to dinner a little later to avoid the crowds.
