Dallas BBQ is my favorite “go to” spot when I am craving chicken wings after work. There are days when I am in the mood for some good ole fried chicken wings and Dallas BBQ hits the spot every time. These wings are always huge, meaty and served hot and fresh.

I talked my sister into going with me after work to indulge in a huge plate of wings. Generally I like to start my meal off with the Lil’ Onion Loaf and some ranch dressing on the side. This time we also ordered the Crab cake and Crispy Shrimp Combo as an appetizer. Both starters were good but the Lil’ Onion Loaf will always be my favorite.

I ordered a double portion of the Texas Crispy Wings so I would have enough left to take home with me. Of course I ordered another serving of ranch dressing because Dallas BBQ to me has The Best ranch dressing I have ever tasted. If they would bottle it and sell it I would be the first one in line.

My sister ordered the Honey Basted Sticky Wings. This sauce was so tasty! You can tell it has a honey base with some bbq sauce mixed in. It has a slightly thick consistency and is packed with flavor. It is both sweet and tangy with a slight bite to it. It has all bases covered. It was so good that I bought some to take home with me for my crispy wings.

They always serve mini cupcakes at the end of your meal which is perfect for me because I am always craving something sweet after dinner. They are the perfect size too because I am usually too stuffed to eat a regular sized portion of dessert after stuffing myself with the onion loaf and wings.

This visit was great. The waitress was phenominal, very attentive and accomodating She was curious as to why I was taking so many pictures which sparked a nice conversation when I told her I write a food blog and was going to feature our meal in an upcoming story. Having worked in various restaurants throughout the city, she offered many great suggestions of places I should visit and feature as well.

I had no complaints about anything so I will continue to return when the craving hits.
