During a recent 48-hour food binge in Las Vegas with my partner in crime, we went to the New York, New York section of the strip. This was definitely the right location for Greenberg’s Deli. We went with the intention of ordering pastrami so that was the first thing we did.  We ordered a pastrami sandwich to split. It was so good, half of a sandwich was not enough. Next, we ordered the New York Skyhigh which is pastrami, corned beef and turkey but we substituted the turkey for brisket. I’m sure the sandwich is good with the turkey but it was even more over-the-top good with the brisket!

I love a good sandwich and I have been eating them all of my life but I have to say this was one of the most memorable! The bread was soft. The meat was mouthwatering and succulent! It was piled mile high. There was enough meat for 2 sandwiches. The flavor was on point. The combination of the 3 meats was spectacular.  Even the coleslaw and dressing were delicious. I just can’t say enough about both sandwiches except I wish I had another one. I have to rate this 5 out of 5 stars.

This might be in Las Vegas but it is New York good and that is coming from a native New Yorker!
